Marketing a community forum is one of the most difficult thing in today's world. Morever when you are trying out for something that already have tons of established ones like when it comes to Webmasters Area. There are already tons of webmaster forums that are running pretty good and are active. So, at that point you need to think that why will visitors not goto those forums and come and instead join yours? You must have something unique and different that is not offered there but you do.

That is one most important thing that you must keep in mind because that is only going to get you visitors. And when you rank good and start getting visitors, you need to attract them to become members. For that you must have little bit active forum with some posts and ofcource to show some stats at the bottom. Either hire paid posting or make few accounts and post yourself to show off activity or get some automated postings. Slowly you will find your forum getting members and ofcource you will love it.
