What is seen when it comes to link building is how many links point to the website you are getting link from, the title of the page that links to you. You will not get links from homepage but inner categories, so it will be treated as links coming to the main site from where the category page you are linked from is linked. So, it is not that helpful but you cannot deny that it is extremely cheap or many times free which is worth. There are lots of new directories build and offered free submissions for a time being which must be utilized and then once the directories gets bigger and better, you will benefit a lot from it.
